Bilateral-Filtering-Based Adaptive Image Preprocessing for Steel Detection
摘要
Abstract
This paper proposes a scheme for steel detection based on a combination of bilateral filtering and adaptive histogram equalization.Bilateral filtering improves Gaussian filter by adding the information of nearby pixel intensity.It smoothes images while preserving edges.Adaptive histogram equalization develops the conventional histogram equalization (HE) to get contrast enhancement while compensating the image for brightness loss.This scheme was applied to steel detection of steel welding robot,which proved that it made steel detection more efficient.关键词
