摘要

Abstract

In this paper, the present situation and futuredevelopment of suspension bridges are described. Thenecessity of detailed research of anchorage is pointed out.On the basis of dicussion on the mechanical process ofanchorage, the present situation of mechanical analysis ofstability, deformation, strength and temperature stress,construction mechanics,and optimizafion of the anchorageis analysed, and the drawback of present methods isdiscussed. Finally, a series of problem existing in thestudy of the mechanism of instability, creep in long-termdeformation, the finire element model taking account of theimpact of structure and foundation and coupling of variousspaces, construction mechanics model, the determinafion ofcoefficients,and feed back design are identified.
