Abstract
OBJECTIVE： To study the encoding regularity of westernmedicine,Chinese traditional patent medicine and Chinese herbal medicine.METHODS： 13 digits constituted a code of drug.The first to fourth digits constituted the classifying code of drug,the fifth to seventh digits constituted the sequence code of variety of drug,the eighth to ninth digits constituted the name code of drug,the tenth to eleventh digits constituted the form code of drug,the twelfth digit constituted the dosage code of drug,the thirteenth digit constituted the amount and pack code of drug.RESULTS： 3 400 common western medicines were encoded,1 000 common Chinese traditional patent medicines were encoded.CONCLUSION:The method is easy to operate,credible and accords with the encoding regularity and modernization of information.关键词
