摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the preventive effect of simvastatln combined alendronate on steroid-induced osteonecrosis offemoral head(ONFH)in rabbits.Methods Forty Japanese rabbits were randomly divided int04 groups.In group A,10rabbits were subjected to intramuscular injection of dexamethasone 2.5 ms/ks daily;in group B,10 rabbits were subjected to intramuscular injection of dexamethasone 2.5 ms/ks and administration of simvastatin 20 mg daily;In group C,10 rabbits were subjected to intramuscular injection of dexamethasone 2.5 ms/kg,administration of simvastatin 20 mg and alendronate 10 mg daily;In group D,10 rabbits were subjected to intramuscular injection of sodium chloride a8 control.The contents of serum cholesterol and triglyceride were determined at O,4,6,8 weeks after administration respectively,then the animalswere sacrificed andradiographie and histological examination WaS performed.Results The contents of serum cholesterol and triglyceride in group A were significant higherthan the other groups(P<0.01).Femoral head necrosis were found in6 ragbits in group A and one rabbit in group B,but no osteonecrosis were found in group C and D.Conclusion Simvastafin combined alendronate could effectively prevent the development of ONFH.关键词
