Abstract
One element of the success of Pride and Prejudice is explored and brought to light in the article.That is,the success of the novel partly owes to Austen's engraving effectively some conical characters.It is also explored why Austen is able to do so.By outlining the comical characters and their function in the novel,the author endeavors to show that the acceptability of Pride and Prejudice is for the reason that the novel has followed the principle that the aim of literature and art is to educate and delight the audience at the same time.关键词
