摘要
Abstract
Based on the effects of asparagine on cell growt h and prourokinase ex pression of a recombinant CHO cell line CL-11G, the feasibility of using asparag ine as another nitrogen source substitute for glutamine for animal cell culture media was assessed. It was found that the spontaneous decomposition of free from asparagine was much more slow than that of glutamine, and asparagine could supp orted the cell growth and prourokinase expression of CL-11G as efficent as that of glutamine. The results show that using asparagine instead of glutamine is in favor of lessening the concentration of ammonia from spontaneous decomposition o f glutamine.关键词
