摘要

Abstract

MADS-box genes are the key genes involved in growth and development regulation in plants. Based on alignment of MADS-box genes, degenerate primers were designed and used to amplify an expected fragment with 130 bp size from genomic DNA of cultivar JL24. The results of sequences and alignment revealed that the fragment showed highly homology ranging from 79% to 84% to 26 MADS-box genes. The results indicated that a partial MADS-box gene was cloned successfully from cultivated groundnut.
