Abstract
Based on the approximation of the unknown function by a finite series of appropriate orthogonal polynomials, Galerkin solution of singular integral equations of the second kind with variable coefficients is discussed, the existence and uniqueness of the approximating solution is proved, the error estimates under the weighted L2 norm and uniform norm are given out.关键词
