Abstract
Each conventional flushing sequence after acid cleaning of utility boiler requires vast amount of demineralized water, and it should be followed by rinsing process. We developed a novel flushing procedure which could be performed mainly by using deoxygenized service water and,then, the rinsing process could be omitted. This process has been successfully applied in a number of super high pressure and/or subcritical pressure drum boilers during both commissioning and outage for overhauling. It has considerable merit over a conventional technique in boiler applications, such as the majority of demineralized water can be spared, flushing can be shorted, the rinsing procedure can be omitted without question, and the service water will be allowed to soak in the cleaning system without a deteriorative effect on the boiler if the cleaning pump cuts out unexpectedly during the flushing period. The process is believed to be widely applied in the future, and we will greatly benefit from it.关键词
