Abstract
The results of study on the microstructure and thermal analysis of samples of the medium chromium cast iron with 2.79% C-7.17% Cr-0.48% Mn and various silicon content cast by metal mold and sand mold are: the fraction of (Fe, Cr)7C3 carbide increases with augmentation of silicon content and decrease of cooling rate. Therefore, in order to increase the fraction of (Fe, Cr)7C3 carbide in the microstructure of medium chromium cast iron, the silicon content should be increased while the cooling rate should be decreased.关键词
