摘要

Abstract

A multi-position progressive die for the electrical equipment splicing part was de-signed based on Pro/E and its extensional software PDX. The method and steps to design progressive dies through the PDX software were introduced, and the difficulties and key points in designing process were analyzed. Using Pro/E and its extensional software PDX, the 3D parametric design of the parts and assemble of the progressive die for the splicing part was realized. By this way, design efficiency was promoted and the development cycle of progressive die was shortened.
