Combinative Chemotherapy with Mitomycin、Vindesine and Cisplatin in the Treatment of 62 Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of combinativechemotherapy with mitomycin(MMC),vindesine(VDS) and cisplatin(DDP) in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Sixty-two patients with advanced NSCLC were treated with combinative chemotherapy of MMC,VDS and DDP.The treatment was repeated every 3 weeks.Results:Among the patients there were 2CR,20 PR,with a total response rate(RR)of 35.5%.The RR was significantly higher in the first time patients(42.6%)than that in the previously treated patients(P<0.05).The median time of remission was 2 months and the median survival period was 8.4 months.The main side effects were bone marrow suppression,alopecia,nausea and vomiting.Conclusion:A higher response rate is attainable in patients with advanced NSCLC treated by MMC、VDS and DDP with tolerable toxicity,especially in patients who had not been treated with chemotherapy.关键词
