Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of modified urethral pull through procedure in the operative treatment of posterior urethral stricture or obliteration by trauma. Methods:From 1991 to 2002, modified urethral pull through procedure was carried out in 67 patients with posttraumatic posterior urethral stricture or obliteration. Results:Success had been achieved in 59 with good voiding and no need of dilatation. 4 patients were cured by 3 to 8 times of urethral dilatation. 4 patients failed. No severe complications occurred. Conclusions: Modified urethral pull through procedure is effective, simple with less occurrence of complication in the operative treatment of posterior urethral stricture or obliteration.关键词
