Abstract
The experiments on application of malt extract to barley antherculture were carried out here. The results showed that the addition of 10% malt extract to induction medium was useful for induction of pollen calli and differentiation of green plants; the average yield increase of green plants for 3 test genotypes was 37.89%, and the highest yield increase was 66.80%; optimum concentration of malt extract was 10% and fresh malt extract had the best effect on enhancing yields of calli and green plant as compared with malt extract stored for 10 or 20 days.关键词
