高浓度稀土掺杂硼硅酸盐磁光玻璃化学稳定性的研究
STUDY ON THE CHEMICAL STABILITY OF BOROSILICATE MAGNETO-OPTICAL GLASS HEAVILY DOPED WITH RARE EARTH
摘要
Abstract
Magneto-optical glass heavily doped with rare earth was prepared by a conventional melt-quenching technique and the glass chemical stability was studied by powder method. The erosion mechanisms and regulations of magneto-optical glass were investigated by discussing the influences of the earth ions concentration, ions polarization ability and erosion time on magneto-optical glass chemical stability. The results showed that the acid-resistant capacity of magneto-optical glass was the worst, the water-resistant capacity was secondary, and the alkali-resistant capacity was the best. The glass network structure and the chemical stability could be improved by appropriately introducing rare earth oxides into the magneto-optical glass, since the rare earth ions could provide free oxygen and had strong ability of accumulation. Moreover, the stronger of rare earth ions polarization ability, the more stable of glass chemical stability. Besides, glass dissolution rate was decreased because of the surface overlay coming forth as time going on.关键词
