Abstract
Multipath propagation is the primary reason for inaccuracies observed in the wireless location system. Adopting proper methods to mitigate the effects of multipath is a key to TOA estimation for time-based wireless location system. In this paper a simple and efficient method is presented to improve the accuracy of the TOA measurement. The simulation result shows that if a leading edge detection method rather than the peak detection method is adopted, with a small increment of observation time, a much more reliable TOA measurement could be realized.关键词
