传统型和视神经脊髓型多发性硬化临床特征的比较
Comparison of clinical characteristics between patients with opticospinal and conventional multiple sclerosis

Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical characteristics between patients with opticospinal multiple sclerosis (OS-MS) and those with conventional multiple sclerosis (C-MS). Methods Clinical materials of 99 patients with MS diagnosed according to the McDonald criteria in Suzhou area were collected (C-MS: 73 cases; OS-MS: 26 cases) and analyzed in coordination with results of laboratory examinations. Results Compared to patients with C-MS, female was more preponderant and prognosis was poorer in patients with OS-MS, initial symptoms were more frequently with visual deterioration and motor weakness, and the prevalence of motor weakness, sensory symptoms and visual deterioration during the course of disease was higher. No significant difference was found in age at onset and course of disease between the two groups. Conclusions There are some differences of certain clinical characteristics between patients with C-MS and OS-MS.关键词
