Abstract
AIM: To study the effects of compound Danchen injection( Danshen injection) on the expression of IL-1 βmRNA in synovial cells of type Ⅱ collagen induced arthritis(CIA) model of rats.METHODS: Arthritis model of rats was induced by type Ⅱ collagen, and the expression of IL-1βmRNA in synovial cells of CIA rats was measured with semi-quantitative technique of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).RESULTS: The expression of IL-1βmRNA in sodium chloride injection group, dexamethasone(DXM) group and low dose Danshen injection group was all higher than that of high dose Danshen group with significant differences( P ＜ 0.01) .CONCLUSION: The mechanism of Danshen injecion therapy in rheumatoid arthritis(RA) may be that the level of IL-1βmRNA expression in synovial cells is reduced.关键词
