Role of insulin resistance in the occurrence of pregnancy induced hypertension
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate whether insulin resistance is a cause of pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH).Methods:Fast blood glucose and insulin were measured in all of patients who had abnormal 50g glucose screening test and insulin sensitive index(ISI)was calculated.These patients were followed up and divided into two groups (PIH group and normal group)at third trimester of pregnancy.The ISI of the PIH group and normal group was compared.Results:Fast blood glucose,fast blood insulin and ISI in the PIH group were higher than those of normal group(P＜0.05).Conclusions:Insulin resistance during second trimester of pregnancy is one of the causes of PIH.关键词
