Abstract
In this paper, calculus of variations is introduced into the mesh theory of enveloping worm gearing and a mathematics method, with which can give a worm tool generatrix under the prerequisite of guaranteeing to gain good transmission quality, is proposed. For the solid of revolution enveloping worm gearing a model on calculus of variations that can give an optimum worm tool generatrix has been established. In the last a calculation method on the model is given.关键词
