Enrichment and Determination of Indium by Separation with Liquid Membranes

Abstract
An emulsion liquid membrane system was used for the enrichment of indium．The system includes a mobile carrier （HDDIBMP，abbreviated as P291），a surfactant（L113A），a film strengthening agent（liquid paraffin），a solvent（kerosene） and an internal phase（H２SO４ and hydrazine sulfate solution）．The stabilily of the emulsion liquid membrane and the factors affecting the enrichment efficiency of indium such as temperature，indium concentration，pH value of outer phase and the Rew（20∶100），Roi（1∶1），etc，were studied．The experimental results show that the efficicncy of indium enrichment may reach 99.5～100.4％ under appropriate conditions．In this case，many co-existing ions can not pass through emulsion liquid membrane．So indium can be separated from these ions satisfactority．This method has been used for the enrichment and determination of indium in dust flue and complex ores．The results are satisfactory．关键词
