摘要

Abstract

A scheme is proposed to realize 1→2 phase-covariant quantum cloning machine in cavity electrodynamics. This clone machine acts on the electronic states of atoms that interact with electromagnetic fields of two high-Q cavities. The cavity fields are initially prepared in the vacuum states. Although CNOT operations are needed, fewer operations are required than other schemes and the basic operations (controlled quantum gates and classical field pulses) are thoughtfully tested.
