Abstract
A media distribution server is an important module in an IP video surveillance system platform that is in charge of streaming media distribution. Though able to cover the shortage of IPv4 address resource, the IP Network Address Translator (NAT) brings about obstacles in the communications between the users in various private networks or between those in the private and public networks. This article mainly introduces the formation of such obstacles and gives an SIP-based approach for the media distribution server to implement NAT transversal.关键词
