Abstract
[ Objective] To study the expression of Survivin gene and its relationship with expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in bladder transitional cell carcinoma (BTCC). [Methods] Immunohistochemistry(SP) was performed to detect the expression of Survivin, Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in 40 cases of BTCC. [Results] Among 40 cases of BTCC patients, the rate of expression of Survivin was 67.5 %, and the expression-rate of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 was 52.5 % and 45 % respectively. The positive expression of survivin was closely conelated with malignant degree,pathological grade, the state of onset (whether was relapse or not), and the positive expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 (P ＜0.05), but not with age, sex and clinical stage (P ＞0.05). [Conclusions] The levels of survivin are elevated in BTCC. Survivin plays an important role in BTCC grade, metastasis or prognosis. The expression of Survivin restrains the activity of Caspase-3; Survivin and Bcl-2 act synergism in regulation of apoptosis of tumor. The expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 simultaneously in bladder carcinoma indicates the malignant degree is higher and the possibility of metastasis or relapse was stronger. Therefore, the process of state of disease should be closely observed.关键词
