摘要

Abstract

Protein-protein interaction is one of the major ways by which proteins execute functions, thus playing key roles in many cellular processes. Abnormal protein-protein interactions and disorder of protein chains lead to pathological changes. Large-scale study of protein-protein interaction has recently become an important approach in the field of functional genomics and proteomics. In this review, we focus on the general large-scale experimental techniques for identifying protein-protein interactions and introduce the commonly used protein interaction databases.
