Abstract
In order to ensure stone masonry against leakage, impervious element is often designed in stone masonry dam, so the stone masonry dam is made up of different materials, traditional calculating methods did not consider the dam into different elastic modulus of materials, the results can not reflect the actual situation. Based on a masonry arch dam as an example, using the finite element software (ANSYS),this article calculated the two cases (eousidered homogeneous body of the dam and different elastic modulus of materials), resulting in stress distribution of the dam body and interlace of both cases. According to the two calculating results, some meaningful conclusions were obtained. From the results, we can see structural action of impervious element can not be ignored, and different elastic modulus of materials should be considered when stone masonry dam is calculated.关键词
