Abstract
This paper studied the relationships of uniaxial tensile and compressive stress with strain and bending properties of polymer-mortar. Test results show that, with the addition of polyvinyl acetate (PVAC), the compressive strength and compressive modulus of mortar decrease distinctly, but the ultimate strain increases significantly. The uniaxial tensile strength and bending strength increase a little, but the tensile peak-strain and the ratio of tensile-compressive and bending-compressive increase remarkably.Therefore, the mechanical properties of mortar can be improved efficiently by adding polyvinyl acetate.From the bending strength for 12 years, it can be found that the polymer-mortar possessed excellent binding and durability. Hence, the polymer-mortar can be widely used as agglutinating of old-fresh concrete, stick ing steep plate and surface whitewashing at structure reinforced.关键词
