摘要

Abstract

Decision of coefficient of settlement velocity is very important to construction of pavement since method of settlement velocity is often used to decide the construction time of pavement. Coefficient of settlement velocity can be calculated according to theory of consolidation if the conditions of geology and ground improvement, and construction of a highway are all well known. It is more often back analyzed with field observations. Three-point method and fitting of pore pressure vs. time curve are present methods of back analysis. Some new methods such as t~1nSr,St~Vs, hyperbolic method, Asaoka method, et al are advanced basing on present research achievements such as theory of consolidation and they are proven practical. It is illustrated by theoretical analysis and practical engineering that coefficient of settlement velocity of multi-stratum ground decreases with the increase of time or finished settlement.
