Abstract
This paper first analyses the iron ore pricing mechanism with regard to the international long-term agreement price, as well as the effect of this mechanism on the raw material cost of China's iron and steel industry. And then, the paper argues that it is the current iron ore pricing mechanism that has protected the iron and steel enterprises in China from monopoly suppliers of iron ore price discrimination strategy when the demand for iron ore are increasing significantly. However, by reason of a substantial shrinking in the current market demand, as the world's largest iron ore purchasing power, China has a chance to improve the existing pricing mechanism, and make an independence Chinese price.关键词
