Abstract
Objective Our study concentrated on one particular motor unit (L4～5) in order to determine if there is any relationship between orientation of facet joint and the degeneration disc. Method The retrospective ressearch of the CT films about 71 patients with low back pain and some of them MRI was made. Result For the patients with chronic low back pain, L4～5 coronal facet joints were significantly correlative with the degeneration of intervertebral discs. Conclusion L4～5 coronal facet joints can significantly increase the incidence of degeneration of these discs , which could be the primary factor for degeneration in the early stage, which suggested that practitioners should pay more attention to that in clinical practice.关键词
