Abstract
AIM: To develop the method of the determination of total saponinsin Dioscorea nipponica Mak. by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography. METHOD: This method used μ Bondapak C18 column with methanol as mobile phase, 1.0 ml/min as flow and 996-photodiode array detector at 208 nm. RESULTS: It can separate diosgenin and its primary impurity. The calibration curve was linear (r=0.998 5) in the range of 1.90~9.51 μg for diosgenin. The average recovery and precision (RSD) for diosgenin were 96.15%(n=5) and 1.72%(n=5) respectively. CONCLUSION: Using the method derivatization is not needed in determining sample and the result of separation is good. The analysis is accurate, and satisfactory.关键词
