摘要

Abstract

In this paper typical Software Reliability Models are analyzed. A new mechanism, called Computer Mediated Software Reliability Modeling (in short CMSRM) is proposed. CMSRM can provide the user/analyst a number of software reliability modeling elections. Data collected for the software being modeled can be automatically or manually entered into CMSRM for process and simulation. CMSRM will also be able to recommend the most appropriate model once there are sufficient amount of historical failure data. Graphical outputs are will employed to provide the maximum understanding and realization of the software reliability and failure trend. In short, CMSRM can provide a more efficient and effective mechanism of establishing software reliability model.
