Study of expression of matrixmetalloproteinases in liver cirrhosis
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of MMP-1 and MMP-2 in the liver and the development of liver cirrhosis.Methods Expression of MMP-1 and MMP-2 in the liver tissues of 39 patients was studied by Strept Acidin-Biotin-enzyme complex(SABC) immunohistochemistry and computer image analysis. Results Increase expression of matrix metalloproteinases was related to the cirrhosis of liver. In the cirrhotic tissue, the expression of MMP-2 was higher than that in normal tissue(P＜0.01)； MMP-1 expression in the verge of cirrhosis tissue was not significantly higher than that in normal tissue (P＞0.05).Conclusion Matrix metalloproteinases is one of the important factors influencing the development of cirrhosis of liver with different mechanism in MMP-1 and MMP-2.关键词
