PREPARATION OF 14C-CATECHINS BY TEA CELL CULTURE

Abstract
The preparation of 14C labelled catechins was studied by feeding 14C labelled precursor to tea cultured cells. Two labelled pr ecursors were tested and their effects were compared. The dynamics of absorption and transformation of fed precursors were analyzed and the effects of pre-cult ure as well as UV light pretreatment on product labelling rate were evaluated. P roduct analysis was also made by HSCCC and HPLC techniques.关键词
