Effects of Bushentongluoshugan Recipe on the Expression of NOS mRNA
in the Penile Tissue of Aged Rats
摘要
Abstract
The effects of Bushentongluoshugan Recipe (BR) on the expression of NO S mRNA in the penile tissue of aged rats were observed in this study. The aged r ats were randomly divided into the model group, sildenafil group, testosterone p ropionate group, BR group and the normal group (consisting of the rats aged 2 mo nths), and PCR technique was used to detect the changes in the expression of NOS mRNA in the penile tissue of the rats in all the groups. The results showed tha t the expression of NOS mRNA in BR group was obviously higher than those in othe r 4 groups, in which in terms of the extent of the expression of NOS mRNA, there was such a sequence: sildenafil group > normal group > testosterone propionate group > model group; and the internally controlled amounts of NOS mRNA in the pe nile tissue in the BR group and sildenafil group was significantly larger than t hose in other 3 groups (P<0.05). It can be concluded that BR can increase th e expression of NOS mRNA in the penile tissue of aged rats.关键词
