Abstract
The basic situation of Gansu Mechanery Industry is introduced in the paper，including the assortment of products，technological level and knowledge property ri ghts．Based on the position and role of Gansu Province in West China development ，t he countermeasures are proposed as follows：to set up the pump base of Lanzhou，to fabricate the high-tech IT products，to develop the technology and equipmentrelated to the natural gas engineering and to carry out several non-ferrous met al product projects．关键词
