Abstract
Objective To investigate the function of bcl-2 protein in genesisand development of lung cancer.Methods Expressions of bcl-2 protein in 56 patients with lung cancer were examined by immunohoistochemical S-P method.Results The expression rates of bcl-2 protein were 50.0% in lung cancer tissues and 72.2% in adjacent non-neoplastic tissues.There was no significant difference in the former,but either of them was distinctly higher than that in normal lung tissues (P＜0.05),overexpression of bcl-2 protein was not associated with pathological types and differential grades of lung cancer (P＞0.05),but was negative related to P-TNM stages (P＜0.05).Conclusion Overexpression of bcl-2 protein is related to lung carcinogenesis and may be an early signal of cell malignant transformation.关键词
