Abstract
Eight antiplatelet compounds, alpinetin, cardamonin, 4', 7-dihydroxy-5 -methoxyflavanone, helichrysetin, 5,6- dehydrokawain ,4'-hydroxydehydrokawain, 1,7-bls ( 4-hydroxyphenyl ) -3-hydroxy-1,3,6-heptatrien-5-one and 1,7-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1,3-heptadien-5-one, in eighteen samples of sixteen Alpinia species were analyzed by HPLC. Among them, alpinetin and cardsmonin were quantitatively determined and the method was validated. The results indicated that these Alpinia species display different chemical profiles. Alpinetin and cardamonin were the two dominant compounds in the seeds of A. katsumadai. 5,6-Dehydrekawain was also detected in the seeds of A. zerumbet with relative higher content.关键词
