Abstract
A YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) phosphor screen is developed by depositing phosphor podwer on a YAG faceplate using a centrifugal sedimentation technique.The fabrication of the phosphor layer,the lacquer layer and the aluminum layer for the YAG phosphor screen are given.Because of the YAG characteristics of higher thermal conductivity than a conventional glass faceplate ,the YAG phosphor screen can obtain the performances of very high luminance,high resolution,good contrast ratio.The luminance of the green,red and blue YAG phosphor screens can reach to 1.4×105 cd/m2,6.2×104 cd/m2 and 8.3×103 cd/m2 at a current of 1.0 mA and an anode voltage of 29 kV respectively,with a half-intensity linewidth of 75μm ,71μm and 96μm respectively,at a cathode current of 0.5 mA.关键词
