Game Models and Solutions in the Competitive Electricity Market
摘要
Abstract
The innovation has been introduced in the electric power industry of China and thecompetitive mechanism has been applied in power generation. The power producers sell electricitythrough bidding in the pool. This bidding process involves cooperative games and non-cooperativegames between the producers. This paper discusses several possibilities of cooperation betweenproducers and gives the corresponding game models and their solutions. Considering several ways ofdistribution of profits, we can make the maximal profits of all the producers. Through several samplesanalyzing each kind of choice of the producers' profits, this paper concludes that the producers willmake more profits when all of them cooperate in controlling the output; and even if participants allytogether, it is.not certain that they will benefit more from it.关键词
