Abstract
Subsalt wells in Block Tahe had long openhole completion sections, and sometimes the configura-tion of the completion tools was difficult. A new well profile was adopted in Well AT9 in an effort to solve these problems. One interval of Well AT9 penetrated formations of different formation pressures. After this interval was completed, the hole was reamed and mud losses were controlled under pressure, then composite casing strings were set into the hole. This paper analyzes the difficulties cementing the casings in salt formation, and presents specific measures in salt formation casing cementing. Cement slurry formu-lation and properties are also discussed in this paper. Salt formation casing cementing was done successful-ly, according to field operation.关键词
