耳针、体针、耳体针结合治疗单纯性肥胖
Treatment of simple obesity with auricular acupuncture,body acupuncture and combination of auricular and body acupuncture

Abstract
AIM:To explore the mechanism and therapeutic effect of acupuncture on reducing body mass.METHODS:Totally 195 outpatients were divided at random into body-needling group( n = 64), auricular-needling group( n = 55 ) and auricular-body-needling group( n =76), collected from August 1996 to July 1999.The 140 patients, who needed the body-needling treatment, were divided into 4 types, named as excess-heat in spleen and intestines( n = 88),retention of damp due to spleen deficiency (n = 34), insufficiency of kidney qi ( n = 11 ) and stagnation of liver qi ( n = 7 ).The corresponding tonifying or reducing needling techniques were applied based on different syndromes.The 131 patients treated by the auricular acupuncture were divided into 4 types,named as excess-heat of stomach and intestines ( n = 85), retention of spleen deficiency( n = 1 ), insufficiency of kidney qi( n = 9) and stagnation of liver qi( n = 6).RESULTS:The total therapeutic effective rates were 81.3% in the body-needling group, 93.4% in the auricular-body-needling group and 49.9% in the auricular-needling group.The clinical therapeutic effects in the body-needling group and the auricular-body-needling group were remarkably superior to the auricular-needling group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).There was no significant difference( P ＞ 0.05) in comparison between the body-needling group and the auricular-body-needling group, but the total effective rate of the auricular-body-needling group was remarkably higher than that in the body-needling group.There was no significant difference( P ＞ 0.05) in the total effective rates among the four types in the body-needling group.In the auricular-needling group, P value was less than 0.05 in the type of excess-heat of stomach and intestines comparing with retention of damp due to spleen deficiency, insufficiency of kidney qi and stagnation of liver qi, which indicated better therapeutic effect.CONCLUSION:The key of the effective treatment of obesity with acupuncture is to select points by the differentiation of syndromes, for which,the multiple meridians and points should be concerned in coordination.Although some points are selected repeatedly in different syndromes, the functions of those in acupuncture treatment are various due to different supplementary points and manipulations.The auricular acupuncture can achieve good therapeutic effects on some syndromes, but the effects will be prompted and become remarkable each other by the collaboration of the body acupuncture.关键词
