Abstract
AIM:To investigate the relationship between myocardial viability and presence of arrhythmia in patients with the history of myocardial infarction.METHODS:Ninety-eight patients with the history of infarction were studied.Myocardial viabilities were detected by 99TcmMIBI myocardial tomography with nitroglycerin administration.The presence of arrhythmia was detected by 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography.RESULTS:Fifty-five(56.1% ) out of the 98 patients had improvement of perfusion after nitroglycerin administration.Among them, arrhythmia was found in 32 patients(58.2% ), compared with 11 patients(25.6% ) with arrhythmia in the group without myocardial viability( P ＜ 0.01 ).CONCLUSION:Myocardial viability in patients with the history of myocardial infarction is closely related to cardiac function and a higher frequency of arrhythmia.关键词
