黄连解毒汤对2型糖尿病大鼠血糖和血脂代谢的影响
Effects of huanglian jedu decoction on blood glucose and lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetic rats

Abstract
BACKGROUND:Huanglian Jiedu decoction (HLJDD) is effective in treating none-infectious diseases.However, there has not been any evidences from experimental investigation.OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of HLJDD on the blood glucose and lipid metabolism of experimental type 2 diabetes mellitus rats.DESIGN:Randomized and controlled experimental study.SETTING, PARTICIPANTS and INTERVENTION:Experiments were done in standard rat feeding room in Laboratory Animal Center, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology.Male Wistar rats were used to be induced into type 2 diabetes by streptozotocin and high fat laboratory feed, HLJDD, mefformin, were orally administered to the rats for 8 weeks.Model group and normal group were set up at the same time.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Results of oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was determined after treatment for 4 weeks, and total cholesterol,triglycerides, high density lipoprotein(HDL), apolipoprotein A Ⅰ (APOA I),apolipoprotein B (ApoB), fasting blood glucose ( FBG ), fasting serum insulin (INS), eating mass and body mass were determined.RESULTS:HLJDD Decoction decreased the level of total cholesterol (1.91 ±0.23 vs 2.18±0.17,F=9.6, P <0.05), triglycerides (0.41 ±0.72 vs 1.85±0.73, F=22.3, P < 0.01), APOB(0.37±0.03 vs 0.37±0.01, F=17.5, P <0.01) and FBG (7.1±0.9 vs8.9±1.3,F=41.2, P <0.01); raised the level of HDL(1.37 ± 0.16 vs 1.07±0.13, F=14.0, P <0.01), and APOA Ⅰ (0.78±0.04 vs 0.71 ±0.06,F = 125.7, P < 0.05); ameliorated glucose tolerance; and reduced the eating mass(19.0±0.7 vs 21.3±1.9, F=18.5, P <0.01) andbody mass (308.7±9.9 vs 342.5±20.1, F= 15.2, P <0.01) of the rats.CONCLUSION:HLJDD Decoction not only has the hypoglycemic property,but also modulate the blood lipids.关键词
