摘要

Abstract

In an infrared imaging guidance system, a small target infrared image is disturbed by the background and noise, which results in low Signal Noise Ratio(SNR) and brings difficulty to target detection.Therefore, we use mathematical morphology filtering based Top-Hat transform to suppress the background of the digital infrared image, and get the union from White and Black Top-hat transform. And finally, we obtain the small tatget image using adaptive threshold segmentation algorithm. The experimental results prove that this approach is an effective method for small infrared moving target detection when the SNR reaches 2.
