Transmission Characteristics of Electrorheological Fluids
摘要
Abstract
An electrorheological fluid(ERF) stepless speed change device was designed and prepared, by which ERF transmission characteristics was investigated. The results show that if shear stress of ERF increases slowly with increase in shear rate, the ERF is suitable for speed regulation. External load has great effect on output rotational speed. Adjusting applied field and using different ERF are effective ways to keep output rotational speed constant. The structure and size of the ERF stepless speed change device also have influence on output rotational speed.关键词
