摘要

Abstract

This paper is concerned with the robust nonlinear control of the static compensator (STATCOM). The Direct Feedback Linearization (DFL) technique is employed to transform the nonlinear model of the STATCOM system into a linear form. A robust controller design approach is used to deal with the parametric uncertainties. The proposed controller has a simple structure, performing with great robustness and effectiveness. It can ensure that the controlled system is asymptotically stable within a wide range of system parameters, as long as the boundaries of the parameters are given. The simulation results obtained from a three-bus power system show that the controller can achieve good voltage regulation in the presence of parameter uncertainties.
