Effects of differen auxins and matrices on cutting propagation of young branches derived from tissue culture seedlings and cutting seedlings of Lonicera confusa DC

Abstract
The cuttings derived from branches of tissue culture seedlings and cutting seedlings of Lonicera confusa DC. were used as materials, to investigate the effects of different auxins (IBA, NAA) and different media (river sand, veg-etable soil) on the rooting of cuttings derived from tissue culture seedlings, and the differences of rooting and transplanting of two types of cuttings. The results showed that after soaking in 100 mg/L IBA and 75 mg/L NAA for 30 min, the aver-age numbers of main roots and fibrous roots, and the length of main roots of cuttings derived from tissue culture seedlings increased, and the promoting effects of 100 mg/L IBA were better. Vegetable soil was the best medium suitable for rooting of cuttings, the rooting rate was higher and the cuttings were easier to survive after transplanting and grew well at late stage. As compared to the cuttings derived from cutting seedlings, the cuttings derived from tissue culture seedlings had more main roots and fibrous roots, suitable length of main roots, and higher rooting rate, so it was easier to survive during transplantation, the survival rate was 100%. Therefore, branches of tissue culture seedlings of Lonicera confusa DC. could be used as the cutting sources for cutting propagation to resolve the problems on difficult propagation of seedling and meet the demand of seedlings for planting in large scale in production.关键词
