海洋硫酸多糖DPS对肾血管性高血压大鼠的降压作用
Antihypertensive Effects of D-polymannuronic Sulfate in Renovascular Hypertensive Rats (Series Ⅰ)

Abstract
To investigate the antihypertensive effects of D-polymannuronic sulfate (DPS) in renovascular hypertensive rats (RHR) [two-kidney one clip, Goldblatt (2-K 1C)], the effect of a single injection of DPS at doses of 1.56, 3.13, 6.25, 12.50 and 25.00 mg/kg was studied in renovascular hypertensive rats in the acute therapeutic experiment. While in the prophylactic experiment,the effects of DPS given orally at doses of 12.50, 25.00 and 50.00 mg/kg once a day for five weeks simultaneously with the initiation of the establishment of the renovascular hypertensive model were evaluated. In the acute therapeutic experiment, DPS markedly reduced systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in DPS-treated RHR dose-dependently, and decreased heart rate with the reduction in arterial blood pressure. In the prophylactic experiment, DPS prevented the rise in SBP and DBP in the RHR with DPS administration in a dose-dependent manner in comparison with that of the RHR without DPS administration, and DPS at a dose of 50 mg/kg bore a similarity in hypotensive potency to that of captopril (14 mg/kg). These results indicated that DPS exerted antihypertensive activities dose-dependently in renovascular hypertensive rats.关键词
