摘要

Abstract

Two times of strong system power oscillation were successively caused by Dushanzi Thermal Power Plant in Xinjiang power system on May 30, 2000. Starting with this accident, the low frequency oscillation mode and damping characteristics of Xinjiang main power network are analyzed by time-domain simulation and eigenvalue analysis. To solve this problem the countermeasures,i.e., adding UVF-2F stability controller to Dushanzi Thermal Power Plant and PSS to 125MW generating set in the third stage of Hami No.2 power plant, are put forward.
